Hard to make a decision...

Its so hard to make a decision on furniture. I really want the furniture that was rated B or better in the Baby Bargains book but i see a lot of stuff i like that i dont know the ratings for. Like the furniture choices at JC Penney are so pretty and such a good price.

So is it quality over quantity?

absolutely quality over quantity.

I'm not one who cares what things look like because, in all honesty, no one was coming over to see her furniture--they were coming to see her.

For a baby, you want what is safe, what is going to hold up, etc.

Re: Hard to make a decision...

go with what your happiest with.
I also went a lot based upon rep, and recommendation.

Lots of ppl on this board are happy with furniture from Behrs, Bellini or BBB.

We ordered from Behr's and got a Pali crib. We chose it b.c it got a good rating (A-) in fact I think Behr's brands all are ranked A, A- and B+. They do have a variety of prices - but they can be more expensive. Many are compreable to BBB prices.

We wanted a convertable so it was important to us to get the better quality since she will have it for a long time.

If you plan on getting another bedroom set in a few years for the baby - I would go with the cheapest but highest rated crib I could find and save the money.

I would absolutely choose quality over quantity. You can always add pieces later. Chat Icon
