hard water?
My new house has hard water. I find that it is always drying as WHITE on my faucet, tiles, and especially the mirror in the bathroom. For those of you with this problem do you use a special cleaner to prevent it from drying this way? Ive never had the problem before. Would love to clean my mirror once every few days and not have to wipe it down with windex after every shower!!!

Re: hard water?
you cannot get rid of it unless you get a water softener installed in the house..
it IS a b!tch.. I had uba tuba colored granite in my house and oil rubbed bronze fixtures and it would always dry white and I was ALWAYS wiping it down.. it made me crazy

Re: hard water?
I installed a whole house water softener from Sears about 11 years ago. Right after I bought a brand-new dark blue truck, and my truck looked worse AFTER I washed it!
I installed it myself, and it's been working great for 11 years. I get the salt pellets from BJs or Sears. The shower head doesn't get clogged anymore, the dishes look clean after they come out of the dishwasher, clothes feel cleaner, etc, etc.

Re: hard water?
Thanks for that suggestion. I will look into getting one of those installed. So worth it!
