Hardwood Flooring Cost
We have carpet throughout our house (about 1800 sq. feet). We're hoping to replace the carpet with hardwood floors soon. Anyone have this done recently? Do you mind if I ask how much it cost?

Cost is going to depend on a lot of things - finished/unfinished, the cost of the installer, condition of subfloor, etc.
Check out Long Island Paneling they are super helpful.

we did our whole house that wasn't kitchens or bathrooms. about 1300-1400 sqft of flooring in site finished oak 3 1/4 inch select.
total cost wood, installed, and finished was around $12K. However, there was nothing to rip up, subfloor was fine, level flat etc. and we didn't have any trim up to work around.
thjey also finished the stairs and the downstairs was stained.
we used Walter's floors 516-826-6470

I remember paying about $5/SF for my brazilian cherry wood floor. That include installation and the wood itself.
