Has anyone been to any of these Spa's in the center moriches area?

A few of us girls are looking to get a spa package for a friend. She's been going through a really rough time these past few months and we want her to have a rrally nice, relaxing experience. Anyone have any feedback on one of these places? Breathe Spa, Ocean Spa long island, or Luna Mesa spa? These are thhree spas we found close to her but have not had any experience ourselves at these places. TIA!!

I have experience with Luna Mesa in Center Moriches. My old employer got me a gift certificate to this place as part of my holiday bonus a few years back (so I had a lot of $ to spend with them). It's a really nice place and most of the staff is awesome.

I've had just about all of their services and the only complaint I have is that there is a massage therapist there that tends to talk to you the entire time. Which is terrible enough, but to make it worse, she uses her hands to gesture when she talks. So more then half the time... only one of her hands is actually on you and she doesn't seem to move on from one spot of your body until she's finished what she's saying. It's pretty terrible. The 2nd & 3rd time I got her for a massage it was the same thing. I tried to just not participate in the conversation but she just talks and talks (even when I'd pretend I was almost sleeping lol). I feel bad because she is very nice, shes just terrible at massage.

I never knew any of the other massage therapists names otherwise I would have asked for someone else. This woman also answers the phones (she might even be one of the owners maybe??) so I couldn't even say "can i not have the same woman as last time". I know I should have complained but I really think she is an owner and because it was a gift certificate and not actually my money, I just never went back. Such a shame cause it expired. I should have used it on nails or something. I was just so irritated by 3 terrible massages that I didn't want to go back.

I recently found out her name because I was talking to someone else about it and they knew who she was lol. So if you want her name just FM me. I don't know if it's worth the risk to buy your friend a spa package unless you have no problem mentioning on the phone that you don't want that woman doing the massage lol.

Thanks so much!!! We've decided to go with Luna Mesa and instead of doing a massage I think we are going to do a spa man and pedi and a facial. I like how you can customize your package with this place.

My mother in law goes to Luna Mesa for spa mani and pedi and has always had a very good experience.
