Has anyone been to Barbados in the last year or so?

DH and I are going to Barbados the first week in March and I wanted some input on how it is.

I hear the restaurants are fabulous! They are the first Caribbean Island to get their own Zagat Guide...anyone been to any they can recommend?

We are staying at the Hilton in Bridgetown -

I went to Barbados in September 2006 but we did all inclusive so I did not get to go to any restaurant off the property of the resort.

not sure about restaurants but i was there in 2000 and this awesome outside bar called Harbor Lights was amazing....

I went there in May...

We stayed in an all-inclusive so we did not travel out of the resort.

Sorry I can't help more but the Island overall is beautiful and the beaches and water are just to die for!!

We went to the Coral Reef Resort for our honeymoon -- we ate at some of the top restaurants in the world -- (rated by Michelin). Calabaza was one, The Cliff was another --- and I think The Tides...

Barbados was great!!!!!!!!!
