has anyone been to mystic ct aquarium?
if so can you name some other things to do over there? My sister and I are planning on taking a drive there Fri with all the kids.

sorry to hijack. does anyone know of any nice places to stay there? I had my heart set on The Steamboat Inn but they have a 2 night minimum. any other ideas? TIA

We stayed for three days...we did the seaport and the Aquarium ( you get a two day pass to the aquarium too, although theres not that much to see ) ....and old mystick Village and drove around a bit too. We had a nice time.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place...a few people on here have stayed there and recommended it.
I LOVED it. The price was great, the room was HUGE...with a seperate living room area, huge 41 inch flat screen movable tv, comfy bed, fridge in room and free continental breakfest ( cereals, bagels, muffins , juice and starbucks coffee ..yum)
It was right off the highway and within one block of the village, around the block from the aquarium and down the road from the Seaport ( although most hotels are close to it all).
