Has anyone been to the Lucille Roberts in Plainview?

I have. I think the last time I went was Winter 2007 -- I was pretty disappointed, I belonged to LR in Massapequa which was much better had more machines (and newer) and felt cleaner to me. I wouldn't even go into to the locker room in the plainview location.
I'm on the fence about joining the NYSC next to kiddie academy - did you think about them? They have babysitting - $5/hour and one of the teachers from KA does the babysitting on the weekends.

No I haven't- I want something cheap. NYSC is at least $90 a month. At least that's what it was last time I was a member!

I went there to get pricing and they told me its $64/month - still pricey to me, but not $90! I joined LR years ago, but ended up not using it. Yes - its way cheap! But I need a place that has TVs on their cardio equipment. LR does not have that-
funny thing was that the cost of LR was so cheap I ended up paying for 3 years in advance - so my membership just ended in March - but I used it about 20 times in that 3 year period.
Its actually an OK club - but I can't do cardio w/o something to distract me. The classes are good there though... I have knee issues, so I don't really go to the classes.
