I have never done this and feel a little weird buying something and then returning it after it is worn. I know people probably do this all the time.
The only reason why this thought even entred my mind is that I have a sweet 16 at West Sayville Country Club in April and at the time of the party I will be 29 weeks PG. I am assuming it is somewhat formal since it is a saturday night. I found a really nice dress that I like (haven't tried it on yet) but it is $128 and to me that seems like alot for something I will never wear again.

Here is the dress . Do you even think it is appropriate for a sweet 16?

I could never do it. I would hate to buy a dress that someone wore once, especially if I am paying good money for it. I think being that you are going to be 29 weeks pregnant, maybe can you borrow something if anyone has anything? I agree that spending that much on a dress is too much, but I would never wear something and return it, unless it was defective.

I love it!! It is very appropriate. I have been looking at it online because I would like to get it for the summer. You can definitely wear it in the summer also.

ETA: I would not return the dress.

I could never do it (wear and return). I would just find a less expensive dress.

I wouldn't do it - I'd look for a cheaper dress...

I once bought a dress at the last minute for a wedding - it was the last one in my size...I brought it home and was trying it on with my shoes and jewlery when I started to smell B.O. - right away I lifted my arms to see if it was me...Chat Icon ...it wasn't it was the dress...someone had obviously worn it, got their stinkyness all over it and returned it...Chat Icon I was so ****** and annoyed...I could never do that to anyone...

Glad to know to that I am not the only one that doesn't like the idea of buying and returning.
I am going to try it on and hopefully it doesnt look good on me so I don't buy it.

Go to Target. I was there today (NOT that I was looking for myself) but they had a few nice maternity dresses, and I'm sure they're a lot cheaper.

I could never do it. I would feel awful. Maybe borrow something from a friend?

Maybe sell it for less on Craig's List or eBay when you're done if you decide to get it...it is really cute!
