Has anyone broken blood vessels in your eyeballs from puking?
i was just as sick with my 1st pg, but it never made my eyeballs bleed. This is BAD. I look like an assault victim - the whites of my eyes have multiple blood spots.
It doesn't seem like there's anything I can do for it, but it's just another weirdo symptom to add to my list. 
this is what I found on WebMD:
A subconjunctival hemorrhage (sub-kon-junk-TIH-vul HEM-uh-rij) occurs when a tiny blood vessel breaks just underneath the clear surface of your eye (conjunctiva). You may not realize you have a subconjunctival hemorrhage until you look in the mirror and find the white part of your eye is bright red.
The conjunctiva can't absorb the blood very quickly, so the blood is trapped under this transparent surface. A subconjunctival hemorrhage may worry you, but it's usually a harmless condition that disappears within 10 to 14 days.
Subconjunctival hemorrhage often occurs without any obvious harm to your eye, or it may be the result of a strong sneeze or cough that caused a broken blood vessel. You don't need any specific treatment for a subconjunctival hemorrhage.

That has never happened to me.
But when I was 17 I went to Germany. One of my classmates had a bit too much to drink and the next morning he looked absolutely terrible. Bloodshot eyes and popped blood vessels from excessive vomiting. I actually felt sorry for him.

That happened to one of my good friends at work when she was PG. It goes away after a few days. Feel better & stay hydrated

Not while I was pregnant but when I had food poisoning. It was not pretty nor fun.

YES - my entire face breaks out in little red dots from all the blood vessels under my skin popping when I puke. I am so attractive these days!

yep - it has happened to me this pregnancy just frm heaving not even puking. Not horrible but there were broken blood vessels in my eyes..went away pretty quickly.

I was REALLY bad sick around 38 weeks with Sadie.
I woke up one day and had such a violent coughing attack that I threw up and broke a blood vessel in my eye. It was BRIGHT red and it was half my eye.
I was having a heart attack that all my pictures fromt he hospital as a new mommy would be ruined because of this, but luckily Sadie was late and it went away before then.
It did take a while though.

everyone notices it - even the dunkin donuts guy (that flicks his tongue ring at me and calls me mami) saw it this morning and went "ewwww, who punched you??"

I had broken eye blood vessels but that was due to a chemical burn - I put the wrong contact lens solution in my eye! It was red for 3-4 days but it got better and there's no permanent damage.

I did when I had a stomach virus. I seem to throw up pretty violently. Every time I threw up during pregnancy, I broke capillaries on my face. I looked horrible during most of the first trimester. Feel better.

yes happened to me also on my neck and nose !! drinks lots of fluid and get preggie pop drops from babies r us they help with the naseau!

Sorry Nic, but this made me burst outloud laughing. 
Your eyeballs are no laughing matter! But you sure do have a great sense of humor.
I'm sorry you're having such a rough pregnancy (again).

My boss' daughter just had this, she had a virus and was puking so much it looked like her eyes were bleeding. feel better

It happened to me once and my doctor though it was from sneezing  . I hadn't vomited but it was a very bad phase with the allergies.

It happened to me all the time when I was pregnant with DS. My face/eyes were a mess. I had broken blood vessels in my eyes and on my face around my eyes. I was a lovely sight 
It clears up pretty fast.....a few days.
Hope you start feeling a little better.

Not in my eyes, but the first and only time I threw up, and it wasn't even full on, it was more like a strong gag, I blew my nose and it was bloody, and I've had a bloody nose ever since. This was Thanksgiving weekend!  So I think I definitely did some damage to the vessels in my nose.
