Has anyone consigned with Kids Closet?
Was it profitable? I have hundreds of articles of clothes and it is such a time consuming process (although taking picture of every single item and posting it on craigslist/facebook seems even more time consuming!). Guess I was a reassurance that it will all be worth it in the end

Re: Has anyone consigned with Kids Closet?
I have done it for the past 2 seasons. I usually make between 100-200 dollars. It really depends on how you price the clothes. They give you tons of notice before the actual sale, so I just do a little tagging each night. Its also the worst the first time around....you can transfer the information for the items you dont sell from sale to sale so you dont have to type everything over again. To me, i figure i need to get rid of the stuff anyway, might as well try to make some money off of it and if not, well they help you donate it if you choose to do so. So its a win-win. It is a bit time consuming but like i mentioned, i just do it in spurts while watching TV and it isnt so bad

I looked into it. I don't think it is worth the trouble. Same goes for selling to a store like once upon a child.
They take a sizable cut of the selling price.
I ended up just giving away most of our things. people always give us things so it is a cycle.
