Re: Has anyone done the 15 minute teeth bleaching in Walt Whitman Mall?
From everything I heard, the teeth bleaching places in the malls do work well but there is a downside. My cousin, a dentist, feels that it can be very unsafe to have this type of procedure done without a dentist present at the time of the procedure and without having to give a full medical history. He feels that those places should not be approved (I guess by the FDA??) to be in business. I believe that most of the mall places are part of a chain, so my answer would apply to the one in Walt Whitman.
I have problems with hypersensitivity and any dentists I have discussed this with felt that the more old fashioned trays with a bleaching agent are safer for me. They believe that if I go under the lights I will have a lot of pain for a few days. The process I use is slow but it works. The big expense was for the trays. They last a long time if cleaned well. The bleaching agent for my trays is now very inexpensive.
If I did not have a problem with hypersensitivity I would at least consider trying one of those places in spite of the warnings I have received, so I am not completely being a naysayer, just relaying information.

Don't have experience with mall but I was in excruciating pain the next day. Not sure if it was worth it now that everything including toothpaste has bleach. Unless that is what maintains the whiteness now not sure if I would do it again is what I'm saying.
