I have, but its been a while. I liked the food & service. I went for just dinner & I remember the place being pretty crowded.

One of my fav restaurants. Had my shower and rehearsal dinner there. Their prices are very reasonable and the food is yumm-o!

been eating there for years...food is very good. We had a 50th birthday there, the back room is kinda small IMO.

Re: Has anyone eaten at Sergios in Massapequa?

My brother worked with Michael (the owner) so he goes there for ALL of his functions, bdays, communions, christenings, anniversaries. It is really good food. The stuffed mushrooms are to die for. You can get a lot of people into the one room if it is set up right. Last time there was a party before us that ran late and was really rude in leaving. And it was raining outside so we were stuck in the entrance way. Michael was so apologetic and probably gave my brother a deal.

For my mom's ?? bday my dad did a party there and afterwards Michael gave them a gift certificate for just the two of them to come back on him!

HIGHLY reccomend this place!

Also, Giovanni's on Merrick Road in Massapequa has awesome food too. Different atmosphere, but yum!!!

We used to go there alot and I used to love it. But, recently I was that impressed and felt the food wasn't as great as it used to be. I just get annoyed that it always is so crowded. The lentil soup though...oh man...to die for.

Ive never eaten there (we dont get out much with 3 little ones) but Ive had food catered from them 2x for parties. Their food is delicious!! My Mom eats there alot, she recently went to a surprise party in their private room and said it was very nice.

ETA: If you want another place in the area, try Katie Daly's, its about 1/2 mile east of Sergios. I had a surprise party for my DH there in April and it was awesome.

I agree, I feel that the quality of food and environment has diminished from previous years.

My father is good friends with Michael (the owner) and my Mom is going to throw my baby shower there. I love it and the staff can't do enough for you. Chat Icon

Sounds great...about how many people would you say it fits COMFORTABLY?

What is the price range?

I think it was about 15.00 a plate for salad, dinner, coffee and cake.

Its up to $16.95 I think , we were just quoted that like 1 week ago.

They told my mom ( for my baby shower) it would hold our projected 50-60 people.

At DH's Uncles 50th b-day, there was like 35 people and I thought it was very tight?

When I told DH about the shower there, he said, no way its too small.
