Has anyone ever...
booked their return flight from where they're visiting instead of booking it all before?
I'm flying to Ireland and then Portugal but was thinking of booking the return flight from over there to avoid the insane exchange rate (just pay in EUROS)? Has anyone ever done this?
I don't want to end up not being able to get a flight which is my major concern but otherwise I won't be able to even afford Portugal so I am considering it.
TIA!

Re: Has anyone ever...
i'm not sure this is necessary. whether you book online before hand, they're going to convert it into dollars for you anyway and if you pay in Euros, you would still be paying an exchange for the cash anyway.... unless you have a bank account over there in Euros.
i would book it in advance.. but use a European ariline like Ryan Air (they're based in Ireland) or Easy Jet or Eurofly.
