Has anyone ever been to the consignment sale at SCCC?
My friend who's PG invited me to come with her to the presale on Friday night. Has anyone ever been? Is it good? Is it all kid's stuff or just baby? Like, will I be able to buy stuff for my DS who's nine or just for the little ones?

It is the first time they are having it at SCCC. I went last time when it was in Deer Park and I was not impressesed. Lines were well over an hour long and everything was crammed into a far too small space. Things were dirty and extremely unorganized. IT was a mess. Anyway, I think the organizers of the eventhave responded to the past problems as they have relocated the event to SCCC.

what day did you go when the lines where that long? was if for the "presale" on friday. I went there on saturday and lines weren't to bad. I want to check it out again seeing as its closes to me then Deer park, but I don't want to wait on crazy long lines. Thanks

I go every season they have it. It's really hit or miss. I went to the fall one and was able to get snow pants for $2 and a gorgeous dress for my niece for $5 (for a wedding).
Is it crazy? At times. The lines can be very long, but they have so many people on staff that it moves pretty fast.
They have cloths for all ages, not just little kids.

They had it in the fall at SCCC and it was great, but then all the clothes were $1. I don't know if I will go again since I have heard such horror stories about the lines. They SAID they are going to make them move more quickly, but it's always a madhouse and I don't know how they will help that.
You need an invite to the presale (new and expecting parents, the Fri night), but not for the rest of the weekend.
