Has anyone ever been to the Friar Tuck Resort and Spa?
We are looking to go a way with another couple Columbus dya weekend and we want to keep the drive under 3 hours. We were wondering if anyone has ever stayed there?

Yes.
and "resort and spa" is so misleading.
The place is a dump. It's damp and musty, the furniture , including the bathrooms are about 40 years old. I hated that place. it was musty and gross. I couldn't sleep. Even though we had already paid I wnated to leave.
I refer to that place as "horshack's honeymoon"
the only good thing are the mountain views

I know..the website makes it look like this luxury place.
the lobby is nice, but the rooms were awful. I couldn't believe it. It was so misleading!

I stayed there in college once for a conference and they were doing a whole renovation. That was maybe 7 years ago though. It was a mess because of all the construction.

The rooms are so old!
