has anyone ever cooked w/jalapeno peppers?

i am making chicken enchiladas in the crockpot today and had to add 1/4 cup jalapenos...will this be really hot to eat??

I eat a lot of hot food and jalapenos really aren't that hot.
If you are worried, take the seeds out of them.

(are they raw or pickeled- the pickeled ones really aren't hot at all)

The seeds are what make it hot. If you eliminate the seeds you should be OK.

You'll be ok, they're not hot.
