Has Anyone Ever Done a Roast Of Your Husband????
My DH's 40th Bday is coming up and I decided to throw him a Surprise Party with the highlight of the party being a ROAST. I thought it would be hysterical! The problem is, i'm not funny...........at ALL. I don't think I have one funny bone at all so I was wondering if anyone here has ever participated in a roast or has any advice for me? Even some good jokes about husband's would be helpful. I am stuck!

no but I can definitely rip someone a new one with EASE, if prompted.
maybe have a 'this is your life' type thing and have some of his friends roast him a bit.

i guess it depends on whether your husband can truly laugh at himself....because the whole point of a roast is to make fun of someone using their personality, faults, and biggest flaws...you just have to make it personal but i'm not sure how far you can go with it cause obviously only you know your DH.
for me--i know my DH would probably kill me if i did that. lol

Well....he WILL probably kill me.....but i'm his wife, too late now!  I think he will laugh at it, he comes from a huge italian family where "Cousin's Nights" consist on forming a big circle and all bashing each other. 
I just need "material"

Why don't you take some of the pressure off of you and you kind of be the host and have others (like his family members) partipate as well. Similar to the Friars Roasts.

I did this for DH's 30th surprise party...but enlisted other people to do the roasting. A few friends and his oldest brother. It went over very well!

this is what i would do.
maybe you would say a few lines to dig at him - but have one of his cousins help you out with that.

Although I too am not very funny. I would probably have his siblings & friends do most of the roasting.
