Has anyone ever eaten at La Capannina in Northport (on 25A)?
It's like a homey kind of place.
Any reviews?
We were thinking of going there, but we've never heard anything about it.

yes, i knew the owner's daughter when i was in H.S.
Its OK - its a little stuffy....a little overpriced IMO

So, is it like high-end, great food, great atmosphere, makes it worth the money kinda stuffy? Or just so-so food, blah atmosphere, i should go someplace else kinda stuffy?

I thought it was a nice romantic place, good food, good service. A little more expensive but worth a quiet night out.
My friend's family used to know the old owner. I know it's changed hands a few times but is still considered a quality meal.
