Has anyone ever gone on the Seal Watch out of Jones Beach?

Got mad at DH today and took a drive down there. They had signs saying Seal Watch and I saw a boat out there.

Has anyone ever done this?

we have... it was very nice....

we went a little late in the season mid-march i think and we saw seals in the distance... you could still tell that they were seals... it was nice...

i imagine if you go now... you would see more..

We went for the walk to where they tell you to look but didn't see anything, and it was FRIGID. Might have better luck on the boat.

I have gone through there since its a commute to my inlaws and my DH knows what to look out for so the few times we take the drive over the bridge to loop...you see their bowling ball heads in the water.

Its a hit or miss.

Pretty cool though when u do see them.
