Has anyone ever had a large dinner (lots of people, I mean) at Casa Rustica?

For DH's 30th birthday, I thought it would be nice to get our immediate families together for dinner. Not a surprise or anything...as DH doesn't want that. Anyway, I am hosting. There are 11 of us. I called Casa Rustica and asked if I needed to call it a "party" or reserve a room. They said no. I am having them make a huge cake as a surprise...but I'm wondering....are we going to be too huge a crowd for the main room? The guy is telling me it's fine, but seeing as I'm "hosting" I just want it go right! Have you been there with that many people before? Like, I feel like I should be paying in advance but that would make it more of a party thing, i guess....I hope they put us in that side room, off the bar! I know my dad is going to make wisecracks when the bill comes, b/c he's the one who usually pays when we all go out! Or my FIL!

They have that littler dining room up front. A table of 11 isn't all that big that they probably aren't use to it. I wouldn't worry.
