Has anyone ever made cookie dough truffles?
I found the recipe on here:
Love amnd Olive Oil
They look delicious...but before I made them, I wanted to see if anyone else has tried them....

I just made them with the eggless cookie dough in the recipe.
Yeah...DO NOT make them if you like cookie dough....they're amazing!!
I had to leave the kitchen so I would stop eating them....so good!

Here they are!
If anyone needs to see what they look like on the inside, I can easily cut one open to take a picture...of course, then I'd have to eat it...but I'm willing to sacrifice!

i guess i'm the odd man out, but i wasn't a huge fan! i'm not sure if this is the recipe I used, but i found them to be sickeningly sweet (which is a RARE thing for me to say!)
I guess maybe overall I'm not a big fan of eggless cookie dough? IDK because yesterday I made cookie dough cupcakes and found them to be OVERLY sweet too and I didn't even fill them with cookie dough, just chocolate chip cupcakes with cookie dough frosting!

3 sticks unsalted butter, room temp.
3/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 lb. box powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. coarse salt
3 TBSP milk
2 and &1/2 tsp vanilla
mini chocolate chips
Cream the butter and brown sugar with the paddle attachment until fluffy. Add in the powdered sugar and beat on low until incorporated, then increase the speed and beat until smooth and combined. Add the salt, milk and vanilla; blend until smooth.
Frost the cupcakes. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.
I think this is from Bake at 350's blog.

I've never felt that anything was too sweet ever in life.  Thanks for sharing, I'll let you know how it comes out if I make it!

yum! Thank you for this! I made the dough yesterday - stil havent made the actual balls and dipped them yet but YUMMM the dough is AMAZING, I can eat it by the spoonful. haha
