Has anyone ever painted there kitchen cabinets

if so can you post pictures of how they turned out

Our cabinets are blah and we really dont have the money to redue the whole kitchen so, Dh suggested we paint them, but i am very unsure

oo thank you, i dont have formica cabinets, but i am gonna to show them to dh, they look pretty good

If you have wood, they can be sand and restained a color you like or you can sand, prime and paint them a color you like. And new updated handles always make cabinets look like new. GL!

My sister and I just painted her cabinets. I don't have a pic but they look 100x better than they did!!

Mine are wood - and original and totally plain.
I took the doors off, took the hardware off, sanded everything, filled all of the holes from the old hardware, sanded again, primed, painted and then rehung them -

I think they look great. ETA: The hideous blue is the 'before'

they look really good

when i get home i am going to post a pictures of what my cabinets look like now
