has anyone ever re-located? Need some advice..
Hi.... My dh and I have been going through some stuff over the past few months about buying a house here on L.I. and getting into a new apartment. We've decided to move to CT.. DH got a promotion..  which we are so excited about,.... but I am going to be taking a one year leave from my job. I am so nervous.. but excited at the same time!
Does anyone have advice about how to relocate? we are planning to go and visit this weekend.. but I am looking for any advice or opinions on relocating --TIA

LOL-thanks soo much! I need help! My DH works in Stamford.. we were looking into Milford (dh used to live there) or Bethel, we like it there.. we are open to suggestions... where are you located????

LOL-thanks soo much! I need help! My DH works in Stamford.. we were looking into Milford (dh used to live there) or Bethel, we like it there.. we are open to suggestions... where are you located????
omg again! i live in stamford..but i drool for milford....fh commutes to LI every day...but if he had a job in westchester or north we would live in milford- its great there!!
fyi we bought a starter home right near the sterling farms golf course. we did alot of work to it. you can get a good home in stamford if you look and are prepared to do a little work (or pay to get it done like we did)
i work in stamford too on atlantic street

that sounds so nice! Congrats on your new home..... actually that's so funny b/c my dh commutes from LI to stamford every day! how does he like it? DH is getting so burnt out.... Dh works for the Thomson Corporation-I think it's on Station Place.... That's nice to know about the homes.. we will def look into that.. do you like it in CT? Thanks!!

I love in Stamford too, we moved a little over a year from queens. I work in westport. Sorry I don't know too much about Milford, but congrats on moving. I know it's scary, but CT has been wonderful for us so far.
