Has anyone ever rec'd one of those Simon Mall Visa Debit cards?
Are they any good? or a pain to use?

do they still lose value after a certain amount of time? I know they used to - that's why we stopped buying them.

it says after 13 months they charge you a few $.
that's not too bad. I think years ago, they started losing their face value a little bit each month after the first 90 days.

the only problem I have with them is that you have to know exactly how much is on them to use them...
For example- if your purchase is $50, but you only have $46.50 on the GC it will deny the card (kinda like using a debit card without enough money in the bank). You first have to give them the $3.50, then use the gift card for the rest. I haven't gotten one in a few years though...maybe they've fixed that problem by now...

I got one last year and it hasn't changed. They also charge a fee to buy them.

i work in retail and they are a pain you have to remember exactly the amount you have left on the card or the register denies it well at least in my store it does.

I would just go with a regular visa card since they are accepted in places other then Simon Malls.

The Simon Mall giftcards are accepted other places as well - it is a regular visa card.
