Has anyone ever rented a car-seat ( rental car company)?

If so, do you remember how much they charged ( ball-park figure) ?

Also, was it up to par ( safety wise)?

Just trying to figure out if its worth the hassle of lugging 2 car-seats with us to NC in March ( we are flying out of Kennedy )

I've rented seats twice. I think they were ~$10/day. They were totally fine & functional.

Its a PITA, but I'd bring your own.

From what I've heard, its is expensive (like between $7-$15/day) and there is no real guarantee that they will have a seat either

I know when my SIL rented one for my niece when she was one, they gave her a booster and said that was all that they had

We have! It was here in NY for a week, and tbh the thing was so NASTY we drove home and got ours I don't think it had ever been cleaned and it looked like the bare minimum for safety and comfort. No way was DS going in that, and we learned our lesson!!
