Has anyone ever taken their DC to a show at Nassau Coliseum...
where they say age 2 and older require a ticket and your DC was over 2 but you did not purchase them a ticket? DS just turned 2 in October and he is small for his age wondering if I coud get away with it?

I took DD in September when she was 2...she is a peanut, and could totally get away with being under 2, but I bought her a ticket so she could have a seat! She would never sit on my lap that long.

i would think so...i don't think they would ask you to show proof or anything like that...

Hmm...I don't like to set a precedence of "getting away with things".
I have paid full price for DD at Nassau Coliseum when she was 1 so she could have her own seat.

I think its stupid that they make you pay for a seat for a child that young. There is no way DS will sit in his own seat.

At what point do they draw the line? A lot of 3 year olds don't sit either. You might think it's stupid, but unfortunately it's the rules. I doubt they would ask for proof, but what if they ask your DC how old he is? What would he say? 2 or under 2?

I don't think they would ask for proof, but its worth the $ IMO to have the seat.
DS sat in his seat at Sesame Live for half the show. There is not much room otherwise - we wen to a baseball game and didn't get him a seat and it was miserable. He was on our laps or standing between us and had no room at all.
