Has anyone ever used K-9 Bath house grooming in Babylon?

I have brought my dog there about a handfull of times and each time they do a good job but they always keep him the enitre day which kind of annoys me but, I deal with it.

Well, I just called to make an appt for this weekend and I spoke to the groomer. The receptionist was not there yet. I was making smal talk and asked her if he is a good boy when he's there... Now, mind you he is a very well behaved dog, he hardly barks and is very calm. I do know that he gives a hard time with his face being touched. If I try to clean his eyes with a cotton ball he puts up a fight.. so I know he must give the groomer a hard time when she trims his face.. so, when I asked her about that she said that he puts up a fight and that he's not bad enough that she would complain..

I really did not think her comment was professional. As a groomer she should be able to handle a dogs faults. I am sure there are many small dogs that come there that do not like their face touched. It just concerns me b/c what does she actually DO when he is giving her a hard time with his hair around his face being trimmed??

Sorry if this is kinda long.. I would really like your opinions.. especially if you have ever used this grooming salon.

Funny you mention this.

I go there too....the one in Lindenhurst though on Montauk.

And they keep Abby ( my pup) longer and longer each time and I hate it.

And This last time, her face was a mess.

Im not taking her there anymore.

I used to take my dog to the one in Lindenhurst but he kept coming home smelling like cigarettes. I now take him to Cozy Pet in North Babylon. They only keep the dogs for one hour and they do a really nice job. It is ridiculous to me to keep a dog there all day for no reason.
