It actually feels like a cell phone vibrating... but more subtle. On and off for a couple if days... good thing I'm going to Dr today. LOL

Did you have a c-section?
I felt this in the area of my c-section scar for quite some time after having my DD. Thinking about it, now, 6 years later, I can imagine the feeling you are talking about because I remember it so well. I always just figured that it was part of the healing process. The docs and nurses told me that even if my outer incision looks great and healed, that inside the tissues can sometimes take some time to heal.

No c section... but I did stop bfing this week so maybe ovualting or symptom if period coming back. I also thought maybe uterus shrinking, etc. I'm so confused..but I'm a worrier by nature... LOL It is the strangest feeling! Thanks for the replies!

Not really vibrating, but sometimes I would still feel the baby kick or move after she was out! So I am guessing that all those sweet, lovely, sensations that I thought were my moving around in there were really just gas!

I remember feeling EXACTLY this, but it was when I was newly pregnant with DS (maybe around 11-13 weeks). It was the weirdest feeling and very very much like a cell phone vibrating inside me. Post c-section? Nope, never felt that.

I had vaginal birth... no section... thank goodness we haven't had sex yet... I'd be afraid it was an early pg symptom! LOL

Re: Has anyone experienced vibrating feeling in lower abdomen and downward after having baby?
Funny you posted this because this happened to me the other day. I am 14 months PP, vaginal birth.
I was in target and I felt a light vibration on my left side lower abdomen. I grabbed my pocket thinking I left my phone in there. No phone. DH looked at me like I was going bananas. I though I was too.
I wonder what it was?
I know I get phantom kicks all the time. lol. After birth your body just goes nuts I guess.

Re: Has anyone experienced vibrating feeling in lower abdomen and downward after having baby?
I'm so glad someone else experienced this!! LOL
I just came back from 6 week appointment. I told doctor about it in which he replied... that's strange... He said to call him if it doesn't go away and we'd figure out who I should see. He thought it was more gastro related than gynecological.. but I don't know. I was hoping he'd say, oh yes, that's your uterus shrinking back to size... totally normal. Instead I get.... that's strange. LOL Ugh!

oh my god! My daughter is 14 months and this has happened to me twice already while walking in target. I kept thinking it was my phone but it wasn't. What does it mean?
