Has anyone experienced vision changes?
The past 2 weeks, (I am 22 weeks pregnant) I have noticed that my eye sight has gotten worse. II notice it mainly when I am sitting at the computer, its hard for me to see the words. I also noticed at night that I have light sensitivity really bad when I am reading in bed. So strange.
I read online that the vision changes are normal but the light sensitivty can be some symptoms of preclampsia. But my blood pressure has always been perfect. It was just checked a week ago and it was perfect.

Re: Has anyone experienced vision changes?
Yes! With #2 my vision changed drastically. The eye dr was stymied ay the difference, until I asked if pregnancy changed it. He said yes, because your blood sugars are off. It's very normal, but def get it checked out if it concerns you"

Could be normal could be high blood pressure. Ask your Dr if your Bp is good

Re: Has anyone experienced vision changes?
high BP isnt the only dx for preeclampsia. protein in the urine, rapid weight gain, and swollen feet are also precursors. i was put in the hospital with preeclampsia for protein in urine and swelling/weight gain. my BP was perfect.
the vision changes associated with pre-e generally are seeing spots or floaters or blurriness, and can (but not always) be associated with headache as well.
def tell your doctor. its probably nothing, but it could be something and the earlier you catch it the better.

Crashing!!! When I discussed lasik with my opthomologist, she said to hold off on it until I'd had children because hormones somehow effect your vision and my rx might change slightly with each pregnancy!

Thanks. My urine has been okay and no sweeling or weight gain. I've actually only gained 5lbs (I prolly just jinxed my
But in my 1st tri I did have headaches and floaters. I still get the floaters from time to time.
I left a message for my Dr.
Can preclampsia start to develop in the second tri? I thought it was more a 3rd tri.
