Re: Has anyone gone to the: Divi Aruba All Inclusive Resort??
We just went in April for a week. I thought Divi was great, it's right next to Tamarjin and they are sister resorts so if you stay at one you can drink/eat/hang out at the other. Tamarjin has more restaurant options, we tried the Japanese and the outdoor grill restaurants there.
Many people say that you shouldn't do all inclusive in Aruba because of all the great restaurants, but I found that with drinking and breakfast/lunch alone we got our money's worth.

Re: Has anyone gone to the: Divi Aruba All Inclusive Resort??
We did the Divi All Inclusive right on the beach. I believe the Golf Club is across the street. Friends of our stayed there and liked it as well, but used their timeshare and didn't do an all inclusive package.

Re: Has anyone gone to the: Divi Aruba All Inclusive Resort??
I have been to Aruba 2x now and from talking to people who go every year for many years now All-inclusive is not needed in Aruba (unless you are heavy drinkers)
There are so many great restaurants on the island that I wouldnt limit yourselves to the divi eateries. Other than that Aruba is wonderful and Ive heard nothing but nice things about the Divi brand name
Which Divi resort is it? The golf resort is not on the beach and you need to walk quite a bit to get to the sand from what Ive seen

Thank you so much for that info! I didn't realize that the beach resort isn't directly on the beach - that's definitely a must for us. Which DIVI do you recommend? We're using my dad's timeshare, so we're sort of limited to where we stay on the island.

Dh and I went in '04 and had the best time. The beach at the Divi is PERFECT! The golf resort is across the street from the beach. (you have to cross a little street, not far at all but not on the water.) The Tamarjin is right next door to the Divi Divi. They provide shuttle, but you can also walk...it's literally right next door. I liked the Divi hotel better.

I stayed there for my honeymoon last September. It's not (or wasn't at the time) all inclusive. It's nice but they were doing a lot of construction.

How far of a walk was it to the beach? And have you seen the Divi Dutch or the Divi Phoenix resorts?

Which time share company are you trading through? We have Interval International and just traded for 2 places a few weeks ago. I heard the Marriotts are great
I go to this Aruba BB for information when I have questions- all the people are so helpful and knowlegable Aruba BB

We went to the Divi on our HM and I would literally do almost anything to go back! It was awesome! Check out tripadvisor.com for more reviews.

Re: Has anyone gone to the: Divi Aruba All Inclusive Resort??
We stayed at the Divi Villiage on our Honeymoon. It was a part of our timeshare so we didn't do the all inclusive. There are so many great restaurants that I don't know if the all inclusive would be worth it. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Did you stay at Divi Village or Divi Dutch Village - I think they're two separate locations, correct? There are SO MANY DIVI "sections", that I don't know which one to stay at!!

I stayed at the Divi Villiage and Golf Resort. It is across the street from the Tamarin and down the beach from the all inclusive.
