has anyone had a heart ablation?

A endometrial ablation? I had one about 6 years ago. It was not bad at all.
I was about 45 at the time. Never got my period again, which was great.

yes.
a few months ago. afterwards I got awful cramps and thought I was going to bleed to death.
it was that bad, but all totally normal.

i had an electrophysiology exam....they didnt end up ablating anything but i did have the whole procedure of them going up to the heart etc trying to find the source of an arrythmia..i woke up during it..so if you need to know anything please fm

My mom had it done 2 years ago. They were unable to stop her arrhythmia, so she is still on medication. They did attempt it twice during the procedure, but were unsuccessful.

My friend had it done. I am not sure if it was a fluke or a bad dr but she wound up needing a pacemaker. Not trying to scare you, just an FYI.

My patient had one and said he feels like a new man. No more medication and he looks fantastic!! He went into the city to a really fantastic specialist though....

My SIL had it about 10 years ago for Wolfe-Parkinson-White disease. She got the "bad" part zapped, and has been fine since.
