Our CAC unit is so old the ducts are all fiberglass and need to be completely removed and the whole system redone. Has anyone had this done? I am just wondering if the removal of the fiber glass ducts can cause any dangers - espcially airborne ones. TIA!

Is this where you are living? I would be concerned with your newborn in the house. I am trying to figure out who you can contact to find out more.
Is there anyway you can hold off on this?

My house has the same thing and a friend of the family who has experience with this said not a problem. He did say it would cost $8000 to replace unit and ducts. The engineer who inspcected our house said it was not a problem for us or our baby.
