Has anyone heard that they are turning the elementary school in lindenhurst on montauk hwy (that closed last year) into a preschool?
My friend said her coworker was talking about it, but didnt have any other info.
Anyone hear? Please share....

I haven't heard that but that would be great. There are so many abandoned buildings and store fronts on Montauk Hwy from Amity Harbor to West Babylon. DH and I were saying that the school will probably end up sitting there empty for a really long time and just get really run down and probably vandalized and broken into by local teens.
I really hope the preschool thing is true so that this doesn't happen.
