Has anyone NOT received a monthly bill?
I just realized that I never received a credit card bill that is due on the 1st of every month. we have a balance on it - we're financing something on it interest free. so I know for sure that we still owe. I always get the bill by this time every month.
I looked at the # to call and they're not open till 10am. does anyone know if in situations like this if I can pay over the phone by giving them a check #? by the time they send me another bill, the payment will be due.

You can pay over the phone using a check but there is a fee. I was almost late once paying a bill so I paid over the phone w/no prob but a fee.

in any case, there should not be a fee since I never received the bill. it's not like I forgot to pay and it's late.

My credit card bill got lost in the mail once.
I called them. They gave me instructions for how to mail the payment and gave me a special address.
Interesting thing is about a month later, they did receive notice that my bill was not delivered and put that note on my account. I was glad..I was afraid they'd thought I was trying to trick them about lateness, or something.

it happened with me on my limited charge, which I never use. I figured I used it at the beginning of my payment cycle (since I hadnt ever received bills since the first time I used it) - so when I finally got a bill there was a $30 late charge - I called and complained and they took it off and I made them tell the credit bureaus it wasnt my fault.

I don't think there will be a charge to pay by phone. I have only been charged if I want the payment to post on the same day.

It all depends on what card it is as far as there being a fee to pay. There is no fee to pay Amex over the phone. I have a Bank of America card and they charge a fee for phone payments, but not online payments and if you need the payment to post right away, its a higher charge.

Go to the card's website - you can pay online with no fee. You'll need the CC# and your checkbook (for the routing and account #s). It takes 5 minutes!

We just tried to pay our Visa on the phone & there was a fee, but online there wasn't, although, we had wait 2 days for the account to be activated since we had never paid that one online before.
We also paid Verizon on the phone & there was no fee.
I'm surprised they are not open untill 10. Usually you can just pay on the phone at any time without talking to a human.

This has happened to me several times but I do on line bill pay and call the 800# of the CC for pmt due date and pmt amount. Get in the 21st century sweetest!
