Has anyone noticed a baby boom?
Or is it just me?
I went to a company event this week and out of the 100 people, at least 10 of the women were pregnant....
Do you know a ton of pregnant women?

Yes! We had 7 births in 2008 and at least 4 more for 2009 in my school. That is a lot for a staff of 50!

It was actually on the news that 2007 was a huge boom and it is continuing
In my office I am the 8th preggo since May...and we never had this many

I think it's our age group. When we got married there were 10 other weddings in the same year - not to mention the next year as well. I think things happen in waves in your life.
I do think that there are more people having larger families these days. I know more people having three / maybe four kids.

Oh definitely. I personaly knew 11 babies born between August 2007 and March 2008.
ETA: Make that 13. There's so many it's easy to forget the ones whose birthday parties I didn't attend.

Yes!! My DH thinks it's just because i'm pregnant so i'm paying more attention to other pregos. I don't think this is the case!

I know on the news the other night they mentioned that a huge baby boom was going on esp with soldiers returning home and they said it is like the last major baby boom.

YES! I was at the lab last week for my DD's bloodwork, and in the waiting room were 5 woman... ALL pregnant, and all doing their glucose test!
