Yes, and I went to Brandeis for undergrad, but did not have Morrie as a professor. He had retired a couple of years before I went there.

I loved it, and while I have had some good mentors in my life at different times, it made me a little envious of Mitch.

I read it after my parents died and it reinforced for me how valuable that time at the end of a life can be. It made me cherish again every moment I got to spend with my mom one summer before she died.
