Mylicon drops don't work. I am so wits end and I feel terrible that he has so much gas. I have done everything--burp him for over an hour, warm water, warm compress on his stomach. I was wondering if ped will prescribe something or is this something that I have to work through. TIA!

They most likely will not prescibe anything, but might have you change formulas if you FF or change your diet if you BF. My dd had horrible gas in the beginning, but it turned out to be a milk allergy. It could also be his little system regulating itself. Poor thing. I know how miserable my DD was I'd tell the ped. and see what they say.

I thought so. I have changed formulas--first it was Similac Advanced, then Enfamil Gentlease, now we are on Enfamil Nutramigin.
It is so horrible to see him in so much pain.
