Has anyone suffered from vasospasms (BF related)?

I am still experiencing pain at 5 wks pp and unfortunately from what I have been reading it sounds like I might have them. (I don't have thrush or a breast infection.)

Yes. After nursing I get a very sharp pain in my nipple and I see a small white area. After the pain subsides, the nipple returns to it's original color. It happens on both sides.

Have you read the Kellymom page? It may have some helpful advice for you.

Wow! I had that with my dd and never knew what it was. I'm not experiencing it this time around with ds. I just thought it was my body. You learn something new everyday!

Yes. That's actually how I figured out how I might have this. I found it VERY helpful. From what I read on their website, I think that I might have a strong let-down reflex and that he's clamping down. I'm meeting with a breastfeeding specialist tomorrow so I'm going to discuss this with her, as well.
