has anyone used B-6/Unisom for morning sickness?
i caved and called my OB today... just had so many questions and have been SO nauseous for the past two days. she recommended b-6 and unisom at bedtime for the nausea for now, before resorting to prescription meds.
has this been helpful for anyone?

I personally haven't used them - but I have seen that a reduced level of B-6 is thought to partly be the cause of some people's morning sickness - so articles suggest increasing B-6 can reduce it - not sure if it works or not - but it is just a vitamin so I figure that couldn't hurt you.
Unisom however isn't that a mile sleeping pill? I can only figure they are suggesting that to help you sleep thru the nausea? I experience with that.

I have been on vit. B6 for over a year now and I had nausea for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Could it have been worse?...probably, but I still had it. Don't know if it was the B6 or not.

Yes me! Only take 1/2 a unisom. I have been doing this for 2 weeks and it has helped so much. I went today for a sono and I asked the tech to ask the doc if it was ok to keep doing so and she said yes if it is helping keep doing it.
