Re: has anyone used cytotec?
It didn't work for me. I took it again since the first round didn't work and ended up needing a D&C anyway.

Re: has anyone used cytotec?
I took it back in august...i cant say it was good experience or a bad one..it definitly got the job done...it was very painful...my doctor said there would be cramping but it was more than i expected...it took about 24hrs for me to pass everything...if i had to do it again i think i would choose the D&C..if you have an specific questions fm me..i could go into more detail if you would like

Re: has anyone used cytotec?
just my experience, was in the er, hemoraging a few hours after taking it, lost a lot of blood, almost needed a transfusion. it took 3 months for the bleeding to stop, iam still on iron pills from being anemic from loosing so much blood. if I had to do it again I would do a d and c only because I had a terrible reaction to it and couldn't risk it again, plus it was a long process, like I said doctors appointments and bleeding for 3 months. not fun going to the ob gyn when there are pregnant women everywhere and you are going through this. that was my experience.

Re: has anyone used cytotec?
Yes and it did eventually work. However, it didnt originally get rid of everything so i had to do a second round of it. Even then they couldnt definitivly say that what was left wasnt the remnants of conception or just a clot of just AF coming. So it was a very hard and long almost 2 months until I got the ok that it was all over.
And as the op said. Its hard to keep going to the drs office week after week with all of the other preggo women there.
Honestly, I think if i had to do it again, i'd probably just go for the d & c since it was such a long and emotionally draining process for me.
