has anyone used Empire or Home depot for wall to wall carpet?
We got a quote from both and they are the same, so now we have to decide which one we should go with. Were you happy with their service?

We got quotes from both too. Empire was MUCH quicker to install. Home depot would have taken 3 weeks.
We wound up going w/ another place though.

We used Empire and they were fast and the crew that came was very nice. Just an FYI you can haggle Empires price down alot. We talked them down about $200 from where they started

We carpeted one room in our home and I tried Empire first but the sales associate they sent to my home was temporarily working there until his other job picked up. That being said he could care less about the estimate and even left in the middle of it after 10 min b/c he had to drive his wife to the train for a ladies night out! So bazaar. So only b/c the salesman was random, uninterested and uncooperative, we ended up going with Home Depot.
HD definitely took longer to get the carpet installed but it was inexpensive and great quality. We're happy with it.

We went with home depot because Empire was a lot more $$. If it is the same price then go with Empire.

my DH works for Home Depot and we had our DS's carpet installed from there. I could not be happier with the service and follow up! They do a great job! I've heard horror stories about Empire.
