Has anyone used Raymour & Flanigan?
My mom went there yesterday and some of what the salesperson said seemed shady, but she really liked this one particular piece from there and it was in her budget. Any feedback?

Re: Has anyone used Raymour & Flanigan?
My Mom ordered her dining room set through them and got it in three days (like they promise). They did screw up two chairs but they had new ones to them in 1 week. They were very happy with them.

Re: Has anyone used Raymour & Flanigan?
I bought my dining set and bedroom set from Raymour & Flanigan on Glen Cove Road and I had no problem. I knew exactly what I was looking for so the saleswoman wasn't really that pushy. I think if your mom really likes the piece, she should just go back and have someone else help her. The only thing to remember too is that delivery is not always in 3 days (as they advertise). You get delievery in 3 days for in stock pieces. One of our dressers was not in stock, but I think I only waited about 2 or 3 weeks.

Yes, we bought our bedroom set there, and although it took a little longer to get it (they had to special order a couple of pieces) we thought they had exceptional customer service. One of the pieces came into their warehouse slightly scratched and for the inconvienence of having to wait another 3 weeks, they knocked some $$ off the price AND knocked the delivery off the bill.

Re: Has anyone used Raymour & Flanigan?
We ordererd couches through them. We haven't gotten them yet but they have been quite helpful. We went to the one in Lake Grove and turns out DH went to HS with the floor manager. That may have helped a little but people seemed helpful.

Re: Has anyone used Raymour & Flanigan?
We purchased our bedroom set there back in Nov. We used the Lake Grove store. Everyone was really nice and helpful. Our set was in stock so we got it in 3 days.
And the delivery guys were great. It took them not even half an hour to bring everything in and put the bed together. Then they asked us to inspect it to make sure we were satisfied. Definitely recommend them.

We got our bedroom and living room furniture there. The customer service in the store was great- I had to change a piece after the order was put through because when we finally got in the apt. the couch we ordered wouldn't be able to fit and they changed it to a loveseat with no problem. THe delivery guys were fast and professional as well.

Re: Has anyone used Raymour & Flanigan?
We got two pieces of furniture. The thing is this...the sales people are like paparazzi, they follow you wherever you go. We went online first, saw what we wanted, then went to see it in person. We don't give them a chance to be pushy. We love the two pieces and would buy more from them.

I find most of the sales people at these stores are vultures. They are all like that.

I got couches and a bedroom set from them. There were a couple of pieces that were damaged when they brought them in the house. They were big pieces and they damaged them when they tried to bring them up my narrow staircase. They delivered them a couple of weeks later and they look great, but I wish they knocked some money off the price like they did for you!!

Re: Has anyone used Raymour & Flanigan?
Got my dining room set from them 2 yrs ago...my parents just bought an entertainment center there. I had a great experience, delivery in 3 days. My parents had there furniture delivered in 3 days but one piece was cracked and they had the wrong hardware so they had to rectify that but I believe they took the shipping charges off.
