Has anyone used SHER Institutes For Reproductive Medicine (SIRM)?

Just wondering if anyone has used SIRM...please fill me in on the negatives/positives..

I have been using them for almost 2 years. I love love love every one there. I have had 2 IVF and 5 IUI's 2 IUI ended in M/C . I think Dr Braverman has found out what all of my issues are and is doing everything that anyone else would do and even more. I have blood clotting issues and natural Killer cell issues, I am on Lovenox and Deximethisone (steroid) I know that even if I never end up with a child That I went to the best, Who cares about me and never gives up on anyone. They have alot of advanced technologies that other places do not have yet. I highly recomend at least a consultation..... Best of luck.

I've been to SIRM in Dallas (while living in Texas) I absolutely loved the doctor and staff. I loved the fact that they were available to me at a moment's notice if I had a question. I even had my RE's email address and he would reply quickly.

I did get all of the immune testing out of the way at SIRM, and I found out that I am auto-immune to my thyroid (Hashimotos).

If you have the opportunity, try going to the one in Manhattan. I think Dr. Braverman (LI) is fairly new to the Clinic. I don't know much about him.

I live all the way out east and I just got a new job when we moved, which is why I chose to go to LIIVF at Port Jefferson. If I don't get pregnant soon, I may end up switching clinics and would definitely consider them again.

Thank you for the replies. I live in NJ and met with them yesterday. I really got a good impression and am probably going to do IVF with them in starting June.

Dr. Braverman is not an RE, so I really feel it depends on your issues.

I used Dr. Braverman, I got pregnant twice using iui. The second time was successful and I have a beautiful baby girl. I have immune issues according to BRaverman and maybe he is right, but many well respected doctors disagree. Many obs laughed when I told them I used Braverman for infertility since he is only an ob like them. I would not have used him if I decided to go for IVF.

I believe the other SIRM offices do have REs.

I had only met with Dr. Batzofin when he was previously with SIRM- NYC, he is now doing his own practice, I would check him out.

I did see Braverman before he was with SIRM, and really didn't care for him or his staff - they were the worst I've ever encountered. Also since at the time he was OB, you had to sit in his waiting room surrounded by pregnant women, not too easy to handle.
