Has anyone's child been diagnosed with SPD?
Sensory Processing Disorder?
Miranda is going to get an OT eval for this as well as low muscle tone.
Just wondering how it's going for your child and any other helpful information.
Thanks

DId you read the book : The Out of Sync Child by Caol Stock Kranowitz?

Not yet. My friend has told me a lot about it though. I should pick it up. I just finished all the paper work for her eval.

Thanks! I'm just finished all the paperwork for our eval so hopefully I can get a date set soon. DD's speech is fine and she isn't delayed really but struggles with certain things. She can't pedal a bike. She falls and walks into things a lot. She can't handle loud noises. Baths and hair washing are ridiculous. She is starting to struggle with sleep as well so I'm not sure if these things are causing her anxiety.
I am going to see if i can borrow my friend's book if not I'll go pick it up for myself.
