has anyones child had this symptoms?

flu this season? what are the symptoms in a 11 month old?
I read up on it but of course its the same as anything else.
Jake has never ran a fever-and yesterday he woke up with 102, it went away with motirin and then comes back as soon as it runs out.
last night he was very hot and the motrin never completely broke it before he went back to bed.
He woke this morning very hot and It was even time for motrin again.
What should I do? do I take him to the hospital if it stay at 102 and doesn't break today?
Other then the fever he seems ok-he eats and all


how the heck am I going to keep them apart today?

My 19 month old had a 102 fever for 2 days last week. When I finally took him to the dr. on the 2nd day it was 98.3 and they told me there is nothing you can really do since it is viral. My ds was acting normal also.

normal meaning-no sore throat and eating-he is whiny and laying around.It is probably viral--I am worried about flu though-thank u for taking the time to answer.

DH, DS, and myself were sick a couple of weeks ago...DH and I ran a fever for a couple of days with basically no other symptoms. It wasnt until the fever broke that we got the chest congestion and the stuffy nose. DS got it too but he never ran the fever.
