Has the finish on anyone's sterling silver jewelry from Tiffany's ever turned?
One of my sterling silver necklaces turned a slight yellowish color. Has this happened to anyone? I want to clean it with toothpaste but I'm scared to do anything to it since it's Tiffany's.

That's just tarnish, it will happen to any silver jewelry. I wouldn't use toothpaste, can you go to a jewelry store and buy a silver polish cloth?

I usually use toothpaste to clean my other silver jewelry but I'll try the cloth for this necklace, thanks.

Yes a lot of mine turned (it is going to happen). I brought mine back there to be cleaned -- it was expensive so next time they go to the local jeweler.
The bag helped but didn't fully work -- probably because I let the pieces sit for a really long time before doing anything about it.

I have a necklace and braclet from Tiffany's...I haven't went in awhile but I used to go periodically to have them clean it- it was always the best. You can also purchase their jewelry polish which works nicely.

you need to get silver polish, Sterling silver tarnishes and needs to be polished once in awhile.

I honestly can't remember but I do know that I brought in about 5 or 6 pieces. It was a while ago.
I didn't realize they sold their polish...I would just buy it and do it myself.

It happens to every piece of T&CO I own. I usually take a bowl cover it with tin foil, pour boiling water on top of the foil and add a little baking soda. It will start to fizzle. Put the piece in for a few seconds and it looks brand new.

I have a necklace that I hardly wear and it turned sooooo tarnished!!! I mean disgusting, and yes it is def real! I'm going to try the tinfoil and baking soda thing tonight!
