Has your DC ever had a virus that caused blisters in throat and it wasn't coxsackie or strep?
My nephew was sick on Fri. Diarrhea, fever, and cluster of white blisters in the back of his throat. He was around my DD on Fri when he started to not feel good.
Anyway - today DD has fever, chills (bad) and one white blister in the back of her throat.
My sister took my nephew to the Dr and they ruled out strep and coxsackie, said it was just a virus. My Dr said I have to wait 24-48 hrs to bring her in or the strep test might come back negative.

There are hundreds of viruses around that they haven't even identified and there isn't much to do but keep your child hydrated and as comfortable as possible

When I google it , it comes up as Coxsackie, which my nephews Dr said it wasn't. My nephew and DD could have 2 different things, but it just seemed coincidental that he was sick Fri and she is sick today with almost all the same symptoms. She has a few more sores in her mouth. My poor DD

I just brought my DS to the ped this morning, she said that he has herpangina. I think it may be a virus related to coxsackie. My DS has blisters in the throat, none on the feet/hands. He has had a pretty high fever, little appetite.
I have been giving him ibuprofen, cold milk/water and letting him eat whatever he is in the mood for. Just try and keep her comfortable and it will run its course (hopefully soon)!!!
