Re: Have you been diagnosed with anything?
Chronic ITP at age 8, after leukemia was ruled out. I have been in remission since age 16. Only my family and husband know. I don't talk about it.

Re: Have you been diagnosed with anything?
Laryngopharyngeal reflux—It’s not GERD!!!
Laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) are different disorders. The term LPR is used to describe the acid in the stomach that comes up into the throat at the level of the laryngopharynx. LPR causes irritation and changes in the larynx. GERD is caused by the backflow of gastric contents into the esophagus, which leads to tissue damage or esophagitis and heartburn.

Re: Have you been diagnosed with anything?
Tonsilitis when I was a toddler up to 4 yrs of age, had them out when I was 4
Astigmatism when I was 12
Dx with Ulcerative Colitis when I was 17
Dx with Crohn's Disease (apparently it wasnt really UC) when I was 31, had surgery to take out a part of infected bowel in 2001, now in "remission"
High blood pressure
Supra Ventricular Tachycardia (SVT) - the blood the pumps in and out of the heart gets caught up in one artery (like a short circuit) and goes round and round creating extra beats. It can be fixed but I haven't had it in awhile either. I am going to get it fixed (with ablasion) soon.
Lumbar Pain
Tendonitis in my feet
Pre-Diabetic (Type 2, my fasting blood sugars are high but during the rest of the day they are ok 2 hrs post meal) - this would probably go away if I lost weight!
