Have you ever asked for a raise?
And if so how did you go about doing it? I work for a commercial real estate developer. It is me and the 2 owners. I am in charge of the bookkeeping and property management. I will be there a year in September. If they do not offer me a raise I am wondering how I can go about asking for one without hurting my job.

Do you know what the norm is for this company?
Right now, I would start keeping track of accomplishments - ways you saved the company money, implented more efficient systems, things like that.
I would until after I was there a year and ask for a salary & performance review. You'll be prepared with your list and see what happens.

I would def not say anything until after your 1 yr anniversary. if that comes and goes, casually ask when you'll be getting a performance review.
