Have you ever heard someone say that babies can't have melon till 2!
My grandmother was talking out her @$# and said that babies can't eat melon until they are 2 because it has cellulose that can't be digested... I've never ever heard anyone say that... have you?
(I wasn't feeding Addison it yet, there was another baby at the party  )

Never heard that and I hope it's not true since DD has been eating it for a long time and eats it everyday!

I have never heard that, my DD has had watermelon and honeydew since around 1 year. In fact after 1 year my ped only said no peanuts.
Also, since cellulose in the cell wall of every green plant, her reasoning is wrong.
